Brie Sutton, LCPC

Brie Sutton’s mission is to provide quality trauma-informed care to BIPOC and the LGBTQIA+ communities. As a queer African American cisgender-woman, she centers anti-oppression and equity with her client work.

Brie's passion is to provide healing spaces for clients where they can be authentic to foster self-acceptance. She believes in the power of story-telling and reclaiming the stories we tell ourselves when they are no longer aligning with us. Together, we can locate your authentic story that is seperate from social, political, and societal expectations. 

She received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore in 2020. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. She provides therapy to adults and adolescents who struggle with trauma, grief, life transitions, identity, anxiety, and depression. Her clinical interests include intergenerational and historical trauma, identity exploration, and interpersonal issues. She is a trans-affirming provider and centers queer people of color in her practice. Additionally, she also works with those who practice ethical non-monogamy.
